Our rabbits are on average, around 4-4.5 pounds, although some stay as small as 3 pounds and some become as large as 5 pounds. Weight is not specifically predictable at the time of adoption, 8 weeks, but we are usually able to make an educated prediction of whether they will be small, average or bigger than average.
Unless specifically mentioned, no. Baby rabbits cannot undergo the spay/neuter surgery until they are at least 6 months of age. Ours are allowed to be adopted as early as 8 weeks.
For our safety and privacy, we don't allow visitors at our physical address. We do, however, encourage people to meet the bunnies! We allow public meetings by appointment at a at a set time and location of up to 5 bunnies! We can also set up Zoom video calls for those who aren't living close to Boone and can't make the drive right away.
Our rabbits are exclusively housed indoors in a temperature controlled environment. We want our bunnies to have the best possible lives, so we keep them inside to protect them from the climate and predators. They do enjoy supervised outdoor play though!
